Sleetfoot fought it as hard as possible but it was a loosing battle. Not long after, a smile found it;s way to his face and a hearty laugh escaped his jaws. "You guys are too much. Ok, Willowpaw, you need to be ready for anything at any time but it was a great recovery. Bramblepaw, you should have crouched lower before jumping. That would have given you the ability to land directly on her so she wouldn't have overthrown you so easily. Try again."

Their ears flicked, but they were already looking at each other, bending low. Bramblepaw was the one who leapt first, quickly and gracefully, but Willowpaw slid forward after he jumped, moving out of his target area. Unfortunately, this would-be clever move was turned against her when she couldn't turn around fast enough. Bramblepaw grabbed onto her tail. With a snarl, she wiggled free and jumped onto his back. A surprised yowl escaped his jaws. "W-Willowpaw!!!" She latched onto his back with one paw, batting at his ears with the other, but her brother was flailing. It was hard for her to keep her balance. Suddenly, Bramblepaw rolled forward, and the she-kit became pinned under him. She bit his ankle and succeeded. He reared up, dragging his sister with him, and they rolled into the pond, out of breath. "Well, Sleetfoot?" Willowpaw asked eagerly dispite her condition. Bramblepaw licked his ankle, ashamed that his sister had beaten him.
ooc: #1: did that make any sense at all? #2: Is that a good fight scene considering their age?

**1 haha that was so cute 2 it was great** The inward fight to keep his laugh from emerging this time wasn't even long enough to be called a battle. Sleetfoot raced to the pond chuckling heavily. he reached his was out to give Willowpaw a 'high-five'. "That was great, from both of you. I can see your nursery squirmeshes have not gone to waist. That was an excellent move, sliding out from beneath him but if you had dug your claws into the ice you could have stopped and turned easier. Bramblepaw, that was a much better jump, unfortunately she was prepared this time. Try again, this time however, use your surroundings. Boulders, trees. Know your territory." **JOOC...why are they learning to fight if there are no other Clans?**

ooc: . . . Mountain life? Badgers and eagles and stuff? Oh, and rogues. And a new clan might move in.
ic:
Pouty at Sleetfoot's continued chuckling and frustrated that she had to battle again, Willowpaw scanned the area around her. There was the pond that she and her brother kept rolling into, and a big tree behind it. The rest of the arena was surrounded by boulders and spiky brush. She decided that she could use the ringing boulders and the dotted rocks to feint around and make him trip sometimes, chasing him into the near-frozen pool.
While his sister worked out a strategy, Bramblepaw crawled behind her and to her other side, silent as a mouse. He leaned over and hissed loudly into her ear.
Willowpaw jumped, her fur prickling and her mind whirring as she turned around. That move had definitely thrown her off, and she hesitated before she unsheathed her claws and spat at him. Racing towards him, she cuffed his ear to annoy him, then ran around the clearing.
Bramblepaw should have known better than to follow her, but he was irritated enough that he did. She feinted around rocks and leaped off the sides of boulders and he followed as her shadow. She leaped over a particularly tall one greased with ice. He followed, intending to use it as a diving board to pin her. He slipped and fell just a bit short of his goal, his claws embedded in her haunches. She could no longer run, so instead she flailed, whapping his face with her tail. He pulled himself up onto her back. His weight was too much for Willowpaw. She tumbled into the icy pond, Bramblepaw struggling to get off before he hit the water as well, but failing.
Since falling in the pond seemed to dictate "game over", they ceased fighting. Willowpaw crawled out of the pond and shook her fur. After spitting out a stream of ice-cold water at Bramblepaw's paws, she mumbled, "Fatso." Bramble gave an indignant cry before he fell over, exhausted. Willowpaw joined him. The two not-quite-kits shivered after falling in the freezing pond three times.

Sleetfoot could tell the two apprentices where getting tired; this bout wasn't nearly as energetic as the others. "There was plenty of work that could have been done with that but I can tell you guys are done. We can do more tomorrow when maybe your mentor has recovered." He flicked his tail, letting the two apprentices know the training was over and they could return to camp.

"Race you there!" said Bramblepaw, and their boundless kitten energy flooded back. They leaped in front of one another and Willowpaw even scrambled up a tree in a race to get in front of her brother.

A smile flashed in Sleetfoot's eyes as he padded after the kits, not nearly as energetic but always making sure they where in view.

ooc: Sure
OR we could timeskip and do MORE training. Cuz this is "Bramblepaw's Training", not "Bramblepaw's first lesson". But that might not be a good idea what with the leopards.
