Ooc: Why not? Just as long as they're generally cheerful and annoying. It'd fit the stereotype of the neighbourhood perfectly. xD

**And I'm the father of triplets at 16...and my mates a chick...**
Sleetfoot glanced up from his vole to see what his mate had found. He was about to agree with his son when he was chastised by his mother, so the elder tom kept his mouth shut. "It looks great. It says they're accepting right away. I'll go make the call." he rumaged through Bluesky's purse and found a quarter before heading to the nearest phone booth witht he clipping. He dialed the number and made the reservation before heading back to his mate and kids. "It's all set. We leave as soon as we're done eating."
Coldkit glanced up at her father and the clipping. For once, she had to agree with her brother. But she said nothing and finished her half of the rabbit; she and her sister needed less food than the older cats and therefore shared. "I am ready father."

OoC: Lol Sleety and Bluesky. xD You guys are awesome.
And I'd just like to warn y'all that Lighty might be a little bit out of character in this first bit, because her status as deputy and her responsibility and obligations towards her ClanMates are a big part of her personality. xD She's a little more testy and dosn't know quite what to do with herself. After she gets hired by Wildstar she'll probably become more like the Lightfur we all know and (possibly) love.
BiC: "And don't bother coming back!" the burly tom yowled, tossing Lightfur out the door by the scruff of her neck. The reddish-golden she-cat thudded down onto the slick cobblestones of the alley and then sighed, scrambling to her feet, her fluffy pelt already drenched by rain. She paused for a moment and hissed at the door through which she had been so ignominiously hurled. "Stupid furballs!" Her proud tail was a bedraggled mess by the time she got back to her tiny, cramped apartment and curled up on her little cot. The joys of being unemployed.
Lightfur couldn't understand it! She was intelligent, capable of all sorts of jobs, and yet she always managed to get herself into a situation that got her fired. This time she had come to the defense of a pretty little she-cat who was being harassed by the snotty manager's nephew. Well, she couldn't just stand by and watch that, could she? And she'd tried to be civil about it, until that stupid brat has aimed a swipe at her. Remembering, she rubbed a paw against the scratch on her face. It had barely missed her eye! And then she had pinned him down just to kick a little sense into him, and then he'd yowled for a few idiot flunkies, the coward… And she'd been okay even against them, but there were some numbers that even smarts couldn't defend against… She'd taken quite a beating before getting thrown out in the rain. Those cobblestones had bruised, too!
And here she was, jobless again. At least the little she-cat had gotten away.
But now she really needed work, and a place to stay, since she suspected that tomorrow, her being completely unable to pay the rent, she was going to be evicted. Well, not really 'suspected'. More like 'knew, but didn't really want to admit it to herself'. Ah, well. She could sleep in the park for a few nights until she found work. If she could find work looking like a street brawler, anyways. Lighfur glanced down at herself. Maybe if she brushed her long fur right, she could cover up some of these slashes and scrapes, and the limp could be explained away…
How had she ended up like this? Wet, cold, beaten up, in a tiny, dilapidated apartment in the worst part of town. No place to go forward to, no place to go back to, and she couldn't stay here.
She sighed and rested her head on her paws, knowing that she'd need sleep if she was going to find work tomorrow.
--
Pearlclaw yawned and stretched. Sunlight flooded through the window and lit her yellow-green eyes brightly, her slitted pupils protecting her sensitive eyes from the brightness. "Up an at 'em." she muttered. The sleek black-and-white she-cat stretched languorously before padding across the floor to the door of her cheap hotel room, grabbing her satchel as she went. Having already paid for her night there, she emerged into the hustle and bustle of the street and headed for a newspaper stand.
Holding her newspaper delicately in her jaws and trotting to a nearby bench, the young cat curled up and searched the paper. "Now, let's see…" she murmured. She needed a place to stay where she could commute to work, and which was cheap. From necessity, everything else was optional, although a clean place in good repair would be nice. She wouldn't mind helping cook either if meals were provided there, because while Pearlclaw was a decent cook and enjoyed it a lot, it was hard to cook on a little camping stove.
Spotting an advertisement, Pearlclaw happily tore it out. There wasn't that much information here, but it looked promising! Clutching the slightly shredded fragment and leaving the newpaper behind, she headed towards the address listed on the paper. Maybe this would be the place! Hopefully the owner wouldn't mind her just showing up, but her cellphone had broken the other day, and she had yet to buy a new one. It really was irritating, though, being cut off from things. Pearlclaw heaved a sigh as she hopped on the bus.
--
Dawnkit yawned around a huge bite of rabbit. Despite this, her eyes were bright and she was bouncing slightly up and down as she ate. This did not aid chewing very well, of course, but Dawnkit could care less. "We're finally going?" she asked, excited. Well, really it sounded like, "Weeuh fie'lee goi'?", but that was what she meant. She swallowed the lump of meat and grinned happily. "I wonder what it'll be like?" she wondered before gulping down her last bite of food. "D'yew fink 'ere'll be ovver kih's 'ehr?" This, of course, meant, "Do you think there'll be other kits there?" As soon as she had swallowed, she was up and out of her seat and zooming over to her father. "I'm done, Daddy! So can we go now? What kind of a place is it?" she asked eagerly, "Let's go now!"

Ooc: Wildstar's gon'na be dead from a heart attack when you all show up. CX
Bic: 'Another call today? What on earth is this place coming to?' Since Starlight had arrived, Wildstar had found it would probably be more polite just to think things out to herself, instead of speaking them aloud to the [now occupied] house. She had quite taken to the thought of soliloquies. 'I'll have to start scheduling these interviews around my doctor's appointments at this rate. Ah, to be the dew-pawed she-cat I once was, caring not a wit for the remedies of the body, only those of the soul. Sometimes one must wonder what life would have been like if I had said yes to Eagleheart.' She chuckled. 'Now, now, Wildstar. That's enough Shakespeare for you. Next you'll be reciting Hamlet in the shower, and seeing floating daggers while scrubbing invisible blood from your paws.'

ooc: ITS ABOUT TIME I POSTED HERE HMM. I'll assume the mentors are like private tutors like the apprentices are homeschooled or something. Apologies in advance for the EPIC FAIL.
BTW is Regal dead in this RP?
ic:
There was a clunk as the glass bottle that previously held a Starbucks caramel frappuchino landed in the trashcan. A smallish brown tabby had had to jump to get it in. StarClan knows how he managed to carry it, much less drink and walk at the same time. The apprentice tom had drunk it sparingly, since it was the last one left in the refrigerator when the had to leave.
He was closely followed by his family: His sister, texting rapidly; His mother, on the lookout for advertisements; and his father, carrying two loads of luggage so Willowpaw could have both dewclaws free for texting.
They had lived outside the city, a couple miles out. A highway was going to be built through the mountains, and their house was in the way. In the end, they didn't get to keep it. It was scheduled for demolition three days from now. The family was in the process of finding a new place to stay.
Suddenly the mother stopped in front of a newspaper stand, taking a copy of the local newspaper and flipping through the advertisements. She frowned when she saw the front-page article, a picture of her family standing solemnly in front of what was no longer their house, with a headline stating "FAMILY OF FOUR LOSES HOME TO MOUNTAIN PASS HIGHWAY". She quickly turned the pages and found an ad that wasn't very much in the way of visuals, but it was cheap and it would work.
"Willowpaw, dear," She said to the girl, "Hand me your phone, I found a place."
Mumbling "Where's yours?" with no reply, Willowpaw surrendered it. Her father quickly returned her luggage.
The mother pointed toward the number she was calling, and Stonepelt read it, seeming satisfied. Flowertail put the phone to her ear and gradually frowned. "The line's busy. Seems like they're getting enough new people already."
"Good thing we called when we did," Said the father.
After a boringly long time at a bus stop, they crawled onto the bus, when the silence was broken by a loud gasp from Willowpaw.
"OHMIGOD IT'S PEARLCLAW!" She slid into the seat beside her private tutor and gave her the biggest hug as was physically possible for a cat.
Bramblepaw followed closely behind. "What are you doing here?"
Flowertail sighed. It was hard being the mother of two teenagers.

Ooc: I've decided that Falcontail should start to become more of a Clan member, but, for now he'll be mostly in the comedy roleplays, until I can properly develop his character. Please excuse my mentally-irregular titles and such, because I'm very unoriginal.
Bic: Falcontail wasn't what anycat would consider world-famous, but he certainly wasn't just another apprentice garage band. A few years ago, he and his brother, Eagleheart had formed a band with a few strays, and called themselves 'The Birds', after their namesakes. Not too long ago, the four-cat band had found a pawhold in the back-door of stardom with their third song, "Getting Dizzy", which was a basic overview of the pitfalls of city life, focusing a good deal on the towering skyscrapers that boxed you in on every side. The band was still generally unknown by average society, although they had just recorded their new song and reached five-thousand views on their YouTube account.
The band's minimal success was, unfortunately, short-lived. After a quarrel between Falcontail and Eagleheart*, the latter decided to take time off from the band, and The Birds parted ways (at least for the time being). The two brothers decided that they would take a creative break for awhile.
Falcontail had found an ad in the paper, from his almost-sister-in-law Wildstar, and decided that it would be a decent place to stay. He knew better than to ask Eagleheart to come along. The orange tabby had figured that it would be best if he didn't mention his coming to town, as Wildstar had a tendency to change her mind too quickly if given too much time to think.
Ooc: *For future reference, Falcontail is the lead guitarist and backup singer, while Eagleheart is the lead singer. The quarrel was mainly about financial responsibilities, and maybe about a new song or CD cover. ---- Falcontail couldn't help but stare up at the beautiful house that stood before him. The stones were well-worn from weather,
The doorbell rang suddenly, setting Wildstar spinning yet again. Padding to the door warily, she stood on her hind paws and twisted the knob with a flick of her claws.

Regalpaw was born to an average cat who died not long after his kitting. But the spunky young cat refused to go into foster care. He took up a job and lived on his own (He never knew his father). He went to school, like every other cat and had friends.
But it was time for change! he had lived in his mother's house all his life and the rent was getting hard to pay He had heard about a little mansion that was opening as a hotel. Perhaps rent there would be cheaper due to its newness. So, Regalpaw had packed his bags and headed out. While sitting on the buss, he felt his butt vibrate. he was confused for a second befor remembering he was sitting on his cell phone.
He grabbed it and flipped the old peice of mouse dung open and read over the text:
"Lk, watz up Reg?"
Despite his incredibly dislike of chatspeak, he couldn't help but smile. He text back: "Not much. I'm moving to a new house and I'm on the bus now. What's up with you, Willowpaw?"
He hit the send button and waited patiently for a reply.

"Right-o!" Bluesky hopped to her paws and started glancing around for the nearest street sign. "Ah, twenty-third. Soooo.. we go this way!" She spun around and, only pausing to sweep her tail across her mate's flank, she set off at a trot. Behind her, Rainkit got to his paws and followed, stepping daintily on the hard ground.
