**I do imagine that Fallentree probably does some veil crossing in his free time... and WHY ARE THERE SO MANY 'FOOTS!!!!**

Sleetfoots eyes widened as Hawkkit began to flip out. he had never meant for that to happen! He was only trying to make things even and he thought for sure that if Hawkkit and Falcontail had been on the same team, there would have been some murder involved (of either Hawkkit or himself) and that was the last thing he wanted.

He pulled the distressed kit aside and spoke quietly to her. "Dawnkit is right. I put you on separate teams because I think that an amazing duo such as you two would be unfair to put on a single team. besides, this way you can tackle and check him all you want and it'll be fair game." He winked at the young kit, hoping it would be all right with her now.


Coldkit rolled her eyes as her sister began to spaz out. She just never could figure out ho others thought it was sooooo cute. It was just plain annoying! In a calm voice she replied. "Yes. I am the only female kit on this team. It just means we're going to win!"

Bluesky blinked blankly up at Sleetfoot. Dawnkit seemed to know what was going on, and apparently they were on a team together with "Daddy", but... a team for what? Something important, by the sounds of Hawkkit freaking out. The white tom went and helped calm the little kit, though, so that problem should be alright. She stood waiting for Sleetfoot to finish, so she could ask him to explain what in the world was going on.

Rainkit was a little disappointed when moments after striking up a conversation, his sister called Tinderkit away. Oh, well, he was on Coldkit's team, and she seemed determined to win. He nodded slightly to himself, deciding that he would do his best, too!

Shadowchase stood by, glancing around at his team-mates. They seemed to have a pretty good team, the clan was evenly divided. Looking back the way he'd come, he wondered if Pearlclaw was coming, because it was likely she also had no idea what was going on.

Tinderkit heard Dawnkit call, wincing slightly at the volume. She turned back to Rainkit and nodded goodbye, "It looks like I have to go over there. Good luck." After that was said, she moved over to where her teammates where standing and waited with the other kits. Though she was happy to be included in the game, she wasn't too confident in the ice that they were going to be on. Could it really hold all of them?

Hawkkit smiled at the white warrior and winked back, "Ok! I'll be sure to tackle him plenty!"

[Wildstar]

Falcontail thanked the stars again for his luck. At least with her on the opposite team he had every right to tackle her. "Alright, team hustle up! We got some rules to explain!"

[Hawkpaw]

Hawkkit turned her attention to Falcontail and ran over to him, skidding to a halt right at his paws. "What are the rules, Falcontail? Do they make this game fun? Is this game fun? Most games are fun! I like games! They're fun! What are the rules?" she rambled, a look of glee on her face.

Ooc: When doesn't Hawkkit ramble? Seriously.

Falcontail tried his best to sound patient. He tried is what counts. Still, he couldn't keep the scornful look that he reserved for Hawkkit and Twolegs* off his face. "Hawkkit, Sleetfoot is your captain, you talk to him. Shoo," he replied in a level tone.

*The look that says "gurl plz" or "you're a moron."

[Nightpaw]

Kaity smiled, watching the two bicker a bit. She trotted up to Falcontail's side, waiting for the other cats to huddle in so the rules could be laid out. "So, are there different tasks for each cat, or is it all just an all out jumble for the cone?" She asked, hoping she wouldn't have to be the one tackling people. She imagined a picture of herself jumping at a mound of ice that looked a lot like Sleetfoot, and smashing her face in. She grimaced.

(Edit, cus sleety makes a lot of sense, lol)

The white tom gathered his own teammates around, explaining the rules again for those who didn't hear before. "There will be five cats on the ice at all times, and one cat guarding the goal. Two of the playing cats at a time will be defenders who are helping to stop the cone as well while three others or offenders who are bringing the heat to the other team. Stonepelt, I think you should play in goal, Ashpelt and I can play defense while the girls take the offense? Any objections?"

Bluesky tipped her head as she listened to Sleetfoot's explanation. "That sounds fine to me, but what about moving the cone? Can we bite it or do we have to push it around?"

Shadowchase listened in to the rules as well, wondering which position would be a better choice for him. (lol all I can see Shadow playing is referee xDDD)

Kaity heard Sleetfoot explination from where she sat, but decided she should wait for Falcontail to give his own. She wasn't sure of how she should act around these cat's just yet, so she preferred to let them make the first move.
