[Bluesky]

Bluesky blinked gratefully at the other she-cat. "Thanks a lot, Pearlclaw!" She trotted toward the camp entrance, Rainkit following close behind. She paused to see if Shadowchase was coming with her, but he was staring back at the medicine cat's den.

Shadowchase was actually wondering if Pearlclaw had meant for him to go and help with the kits by her glance over at him. But after a moment, he shrugged and followed the smaller silver-blue queen. Halfway to the lake, they heard Ashpelt coming through the crunchy undergrowth. No doubt he had started some game or other to get the kits to follow him. Shadowchase smiled to himself, then looked up as he heard his name a little ways off. The rest of the clan was still gathered about the ice, and Sleetfoot had been listing off names. He wondered what was going on as they came up on the group of cats, Bluesky drawing away to stand next to Sleetfoot.

Little Rainkit trotted off, unconcerned for now about what was going on, and went over to Tinderkit. "Are you going to go onto the ice?"

OoC: Okay, Bluesky, I thought it was a typo the first time but you just did it twice more- Are you under the impression that Pearlclaw is male? ^^* (Not a big deal if so, just wondering.) Also, Pearlclaw and Shadowchase are still a planned couple, yes?

Tinderkit nearly jumped when Rainkit talked to her, being that she'd been so focused on listening to the older cats, she'd been completely oblivious to her other surroundings. Her eyes were lite with a nervous excitement as she looked over to the other kit and nodded tentatively, "I think so. I've never been on frozen water before; I wonder if it will really hold all of us cats." She looked back to where everyone was gathering, still not sure about this whole idea. What if she did something wrong? She didn't want to offend anyone or let her team down, but playing sounded like so much fun.
Brackenclaw sat down near where his team was gathering. Great, now he'd been dragged into this madness. Oh well, he couldn't beat them, so he might as well join them. His team seemed decent enough, they even stood a chance of winning. There was a bit of a playful gleam in his eye, he wouldn't lose to any of these younger cats.

Kaity Flicked her ears as she heard all the new voices. There were quite a few of them, more that she actually expected. As Brackenclaw sat on her side, she meowed her greeting, smiling. She looked as a few of the kits came and joined in, seeing that the loud one from earlier was not on her team. She glanced around at all of them. She almost wished that she had been on Sleetfoot's team, but as she watched Falcontail, she smiled a little. He was handsome too. Who had mates here, she wondered, also looking at Brackenfur and Ashpelt.

[Hawkpaw]

Hawkkit's stomach dropped as Sleetfoot announced the teams. Her eyes began to water and she appeared as though she was about to begin bawling. "But, Sleetfoot!" she cried, "I... I... Wanted to be on Falcontail's team! Please let me trade teams, Sleetfoot! Pretty please with a vole on top?" she begged as tears began to fall freely down her white and cream face, her blue eyes wide with sadness.

[Nightpaw]

Kaity stood. "Hawkit, You will still be playing with him." She looked over at Falcontail. "Maybe you could show him a thing or too, yes?" She offered the challenge to the sad kit, hoping that she would find it just as fun.

[Wildstar]

Ooc: XDDDDDDDDDDD YOU SAID HE WAS HANDSOME I TOTALLY LOVE YOU! Do I sense a love triangle?! -gets hopes up-

Falcontail frowned at Hawkkit's tantrum. Somecat would have to beat that out of her when she became an apprentice.
"It'll probably end up being you," Wildstar slid up to him, answering his unasked question.
"What makes you say that? I could be anycat's mentor at this point," Falcontail hissed.
Wildstar winked at him. "Well, when you've got connections to StarClan, anything's possible."
"Shut up! I hope all your fur falls out and Eagleheart sees you!" Falcontail smirked.
"Mousebrain!" Wildstar snorted, sliding past him to the other team members. "I call goalie!"

[Lightfur]

OoC: LOL Sleety, in your team list you named Brackenclaw Brackenfoot! xDDD

BiC: Dawnkit was distracted by Fallentree, so she was slow getting out of the medicine cat's den and pelting through the forest to the lake. Luckily, she arrived quickly enough not to be the rotten fresh-kill, mostly since Pearlclaw had stayed slightly behind to make sure all of the kits- namely, the irascible Dawnkit- reached the lake safely. The golden kit arrived at the lake- which was hard! And cats were walking on it!- just in time to hear her Daddy announce the teams, and almost exploded with joy. "Daddy! Mommy! I'm on your team!" she cried, as if they hadn't just heard or announced that fact themselves. "Ha ha Coldkit! Rainkit! I'm on Mommy and Daddy's team!"

Noticing Hawkkit's distress, Dawnkit scampered over to her upset friend and nuzzled her comfortingly. "Don't worry Hawkkit! You'll be able to tackle him and shove him, and you're on MY team, plus we're gonna win! And Tinderkit is on our team, too! All the girl kits except Coldkit! Poor Coldkit!" Dawnkit looked over towards Tinderkit, who seemed to be talking to her brother. "Tinderkit! Come over here! We gotta discuss str-stra-stradigee, and you can't talk to Rainkit right now! He's the enemy!" Dawnkit stuck her tongue out at her neat brother, and resolved that once they were out on the lake she would muss up his fur if it was the last thing she did.

Pearlclaw was the last cat to arrive at the lake, following Dawnkit, and so she was a little confused as to what was going on. She didn't know how to ask, since even Dawnkit seemed to understand immediately, and so she just sort of stood there awkwardly, looking around at the churning melee of playful cats, trying to figure out what everyone was so excited about.

Meanwhile, Lightfur won the cat-hockey championship! Oh wait, nevermind, she was chilling with Fallentree whilst in a coma.

Ooc: Fallentree's not dead… unless he hovers between life and death frequently. o_0

OoC: Fallentree is in the med. cat's den babysitting Lightfur's comatose body. xDD

Hawkkit smiled at Dawnkit, "We're soooo going to win!" she exclaimed.

[Nightpaw]

Kaity smiled. "Lets get this thing going" She was relaxing now that all the sents were settling in on her. She jumped like a kit waiting to get started, even though she was pretty sure she would fail miserably.

((um, Kaity is just very flirtatious, and yes, she called him handsome, lol))
