... seems to reveal a lot about yourself.
For me, I always seem to write really sappy stories about two people who can never be together (despite my tough-guy attitude, it is my weakness). I didn't realize until a week or so ago that I was writing mostly about how I would feel.
Basically, I'm love in with being in love, but that's about it. Happy endings, although I love them, don't seem to be for me. Every time I meet someone nice, I push them away, then wonder why they moved on. u_u At least now I know why. -- Anything weird like that happen when you guys write a story?

Not like that, but my characters always reflect me or what I want to be, and sometimes the parts that aren't me are cast upon my daily life. Once I had this suicidal character. Pretty dark days. . . .

I agree. Most of my stories are about a team of forensics working or two cellists going to a musical school. Those kinds of things that are me but not really.

So what does it say about me that I like writing about vampires and horror/macabre stuff? o-o;; Most of my characters are a part of me, not always a big part, that's turned into their entire personality. Like Bluesky's arrogance and such.
WAIT WHAT IF A LOT OF MY CHARACTERS ARE GAY? O__O

lol Bluesky. x3
My charries mostly have really depressing pasts. And when I manage to complete a short story, it's usually a creepy/depressed one. I don't think that means anything, though. A lot of my charries with depressing pasts are happy now though, but troubled by their pasts. Mostly they've moved on and rely on their families and friends to get them through. Like Spirit & Skipp & Niessa & Numair (& Eugenides & Everlasting). And Valanna & Trinna. And Bird & Matt & Sheila. And Dawnheart & Amergaze & Mountainpaw (& Firekit). I guess I've got quite a few like that. And then there are my evil and not-so-evil vampire charries, I love those. Hm.
Wonder what all of that means? xDD

How about that you write too much? That's a ton of charries. Forget Devoted Deputy, to me you are now the Daunting Deputy. xD

Or maybe, drooling-fangirl deputy. (So what if there're only two "d"s?)

Wildstar: Ooh. Nice concept, if it doesn't roll off the tongue very easily. =O Or the keyboard. (Yay, Internet nonsense!) Fits me pretty well, n'est-çe pas?
Starry: Heh, are you kidding me? Those are only the family bunches that come immediately to mind. There's also Mark, Dain, Adair, Lilith, Jaeveile, Penny, Colin, Alouette, and Piper.
Plus the vampires: Vesper, Tzila, Ainslie, Iolani, Kitkun, Chimere, Eilir, and Hester. Also the vampire-Lilith. (I have two charries named Lilith, one human and one a vampire.)
Oh, and a couple of family groups I forgot:
Tamesis & Maddox & Christian & Merrick & Berry & Nathaniel & Blake & Miranda. Vesper & Tzila. (Yeah, the vampires from above) Jess & David & Carmen & Nathaniel (not the same Nathaniel) Britt & Tristan & Gaerwin
And of course my unmentioned Warriors babies, Lightfur, Iristail, Stoneheart, Bravekit, Lilykit, Icewind, Dreamsong, Birdwing, Sharpflower, Misthawk, Seacrest, Dawnkit, and Darkweaver, not mentioning the twelve or so main charries from my abandoned fanfic which became obsolete with the release of Firestar's Quest. =3
I roleplay a lot. Obviously.

*bows down to Lighty's awesome roleplay experience* How on earth do you maintain so many characters, O Daunting Deputy of . . . Writing. Is there a word for writing that begins with D?

They just accumulate. =3 And of course some of them I haven't used in a while. It's been ages since I brought Dain out of his little charrie box.
Compared to some people I don't even have that many charries. T3245 from Anatheria has hundreds of charries, remembers them all, and is an incredible roleplayer besides. SHE is the true expert. =3
My main non-warrior characters are Spirit, Skipp, Niessa, and Numair, and kind of Eugenides and Everlasting. They can all function as a group, in pairs, or individually. I know them the best of all my charries except maybe Lightfur. (Anyone else have a set of charries like that?)

Nopers. I actually have several charries, but I used to create charries specifically for a roleplay and let them die as the roleplay did. Therefore, I have about . . . four, I think.

I almost always recycle my charries, and that's how they grow and develop. Spirit, for example, was my very first roleplaying charrie EVER, and so I know her the best, followed by Niessa, Skipp, and Numair, in that order. After that it's prolly Matt, Bird, Valanna, and Trinna, also in that order. Then Tamesis. The others aren't as far along in their character development, but I can still write with them easily, especially my vamps. Love those, I put a lot of effort into them even though I'm not a huge fan of MOST vampire roleplays.

Warriors- Heathercloud, Pebblepelt, Brassfur, Thornbush, Willowflicker, Flameslash, Vulturebeak, Hawkfeather, Tigersoul, Liontail, Spottedfire, Hunnymoon, Squirrelrun, Puffball, Flowerpetal, Bluesky, Rainbreath, Shadowchase, Foxfangs, and Mudsplatter. And a TON more but they're currently in dis-use until I continue get around to re-doing my fanfic. >_>;; Vampires- Xace, Hannah "Nah Nah" Lidos, Fluke "Blood Lust" Nemos, Eric Blitz, Felix Hera, Sahara Redon, Benjamin "Ben" Krakha, Neko, Flick Smitt, Causier and Leland. Others- Skhye Hurde, Philipe, Nockturne, Frizz, Snap, Nena Hetip, aaaaaand I forget all the others. I like to torture my warriors muchlies, and the vampires mostly have crappy lives. Well, I'm not a writer, I'm an artist.
I'm trying to respond to this in a coherent way. It's hard, but I'll try.
But my characters are kind of... exotic...? They all stick out from the crowd in some way. Those that don't try to.
When I have a large group of individuals, like GhostClan, I try to make them different, but together....
My characters mean a lot to me. They may act nothing like me, but they carry a bit of my soul. I do torture them sometimes, but that doesn't change that fact.
