It seems you've been asked that twenty times already. Ah, I wonder what kind of traumatic events could occur . . . besides the obvious outright attack of MountainClan, that is. Speaking of which, how do we go about this? Do our patrols start picking up strange scents, or is there a random surprise attack? Do the leopards have a strategy, or do they just do violence and wreck havoc? EDIT: I s'pose wrecking havoc is a strategy, in a sense. But you know what I mean.

I HAVE AN IDEA
Stonepelt? Flowertail's old mate? The one who went missing, y'know? He could be like, running into the camp cuzza leopards and everyone's all "OMG YOU'RE BACK" and he's all "OMG WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE."

OoC: I like that idea because it puts a more emotional spin on things as well. Like, Flowertail and Stonepelt are dealing with their reunion, Bramblepaw and Willowpaw are dealing with the return of their father, Clan relations are shifting because of Blue's new kits and the return of Stonepelt. (plus I get to deal with Falcontail, because I haven't roleplayed with him before =O.) So relationships are developing and changing in a time of pressure and conflict. It acts as a nice catalyst, while the more violent aspects helpt to speed things along.
If that makes sense. xDD I felt like an idiot writing that, not gonna lie.

haha, I like that idea a bunch!
And are the leopard gonna be rational like BloodClan or irrational like the mountain lion with the Tribe?

OoC: I would think that if we're playing them then they'd be rational… I mean, since they have a leader, I assume that they're organized, not like the dog pack from the first series or whatever. I mean, basically they're big cats, right?

ooc: Cool then.
I think we've got this pretty well set up. But, since I'm doing my little familything, I can't have leopard, cuz the char limit for this RP is 4.

ooc: I think that's just in general.
This one has a bigger impact on the clan than others, and I think it has stricter rules. But I'm really just talking through my hat.

By the way, I posted some stuff in the "Lightfur Returns!!!" thread, though I probably should have posted it here . . . Let me copy and paste over here, 'kay? 'Kay.
PASTED: So . . . I feel awkward about the proposal I’m about to make, being brand-new and all, but Sleety told me I should go ahead and propose it . . . if you don’t like it, feel free to say so. Especially (and obviously) Wildstar.
So originally, the star thing was just supposed to be a sign that Starkit would be the next medicine cat. However, Sleety and I came up with a kind of fun prophecy thing.
In the Mountains Two Stars appear, Bold and unafraid. But if one fails That Clan will fall While the other reigns.
Um . . . I know it doesn’t exactly sound amazing, so if someone can come up with something that sounds better, PLEASE do so.
Anyway, point is, there would be a leopard the same age as Starkit, and that they are both crucial to their clan’s survival (Starry ‘cuz she’s gonna be the medicine cat or something like that). Whichever kit is taken first, that kit’s clan will lose the fight eventually. And the reigns part is that obviously whoever lives will reign over all the mountain territory and stuff.
So . . . yeah. Oh, and I won’t play the leopard star cat unless no one else wants to . . . .
Also, I don’t know how much bigger snow leopards are than cats, but we can’t have a lot of leopards if they’re too much bigger or MountainClan can’t win . . . .
Finally, I be done. Thankies. ;D

OoC: Oh, 'twas a good idea to post that here. =3 Here, I'll post my reaction here so that people don't need to be running all around the forums and stuff.
"As far as the proposed plot, though, I'm not so thrilled… This means that MountainClan has got to target a leopard kit? That seems a little dishonorable. If I'm getting the wrong impression please clarify, though.
Also, of course, for any character-centric plot, you'll have to get Wildstar's okay, but personally I don't have a problem with this one. It doesn't seem that this specific prophecy would focus the roleplay on Starkit to the exclusion of all else, or anything."
