OoC: Sorry, I've been super busy over the last few days, but here's a quick reply. If you'd like to help that's be great Hawky. ^^
BiC: Tinderpaw nodded, though her eyes showed her nervousness. She wouldn't defy her mentor, but she did need make sure he was quite positive this was the only way to do this, "Ar-are you sure no one will mind me asking so many questions? I'm really bad at talking with other cats; I tend to say things that upset them." She had a bit of a dejected look about her, her insecurities showing through. There had never been a time in her life when she'd been very good with relating to other cats; she'd always been the odd-cat-out. Offending other cats was one of her worst fears, even though it wasn't likely to happen. She wasn't as bad as she thought she was of course, but her fear always held her back.

Ashpelt took the apprentice's concern seriously, a thoughtful look on his face. "There isn't much I can say to that," the warrior admitted, "except that MountainClan is made up of only good-natured cats. Even if some of them show their kindness in strage ways," he added, thinking of Springflower and Brackenclaw. "You have to remember that no cat, not even Wildstar herself, is perfect. We all make mistakes. I can assure you that, no matter how many mistakes you make, any cat in MountainClan will forgive you if you apologize, so long as you have good intentions." His gaze drifted, and he noticed another new apprentice in the camp. A thought came to him, and Ashpelt chuckled. "Besides, if you start talking to the right cat, you'd hardly be able to put in two words edgewise if you tried, let alone offend her."

Tinderpaw followed her mentor's gaze and saw Hawkpaw from across the camp. Well, maybe that wouldn't be so bad. She already knew Hawkpaw a bit from staying in the nursery with her the first with months here, and she knew that Hawkpaw wasn't likely to be offended should Tinderpaw say the wrong thing to her. That could work, yes, it would work. She looked back to Ashpelt and nodded, "Okay, should I go now?" Part of her just wanted to get this over with so she could stop worrying about, then she could move on with this training.

"Whenever you're ready," Ashpelt said, glancing at the freshkill pile. "I'm just going to take that nice, fat thrush there and go find a place to nap."

Tinderpaw nodded, attempting to look confident in herself, though she hardly felt it. Just go and be nice, that wasn't hard. Standing, she moved away from her mentor and began to walk towards her fellow apprentice. Hopefully she wouldn't be intruding on something important...oh no, what if she was intruding on something important?! She stopped, now feeling more anxious. That would be worse than saying something bad; interrupting something. After all, Hawkpaw was training too, Tinderpaw was the only cat who had to train. 'Maybe I should go back...no, I need to do this, or I might make Ashpelt mad at me.' She gulped then moved forward again, though each step was a battle to keep herself going. Finally she reached her fellow apprentice, "H-hawkpaw, do you have a moment?"
OoC: You can hop in now if you want Hawky, or I can just skip to after the conversation. ^^;

Ooc: Lets play out a little bit of their conversation, then after a while do a whole, "And the two young apprentices continued talking, and Tinderpaw realized her clanmates weren't so bad after all!" thing, if you're ok with that.
BIC: Hawkpaw smiled at her fellow apprentice, "Hey, Tinderpaw!" she exclaimed, "Of course I've got a minute. What's up?"

OoC: Works for me.
BiC: Tinderpaw sat down, shyly wrapping her tail around her paws again, "Well, for my training...Ashpelt said that I need to spend the afternoon getting to know other cats and well, I figured it wouldn't be so bad to start with you." She felt embarrassed for taking up Hawkpaw's time with such a trivial errand, but it had to be done or she would disappoint Ashpelt. 'Just keep your mouth shut,' she commanded herself, 'Only answer if Hawkpaw asks you something.'

"Well, I like to think of myself as a pretty easy cat to talk to!" she laughed, "So! What do you want to talk about?" she asked, turning her head towards her fellow apprentice. She had noticed that Tinderpaw wan't exactly the most friendly cat. She was rather shy in fact. Hawkpaw was determined to get her as involved in the conversation as she possibly could.

Tinderpaw looked her paws, not entirely sure what she should talk about, "Um...well, I guess tell me about yourself." She didn't know if there was anything specific that she had to know, but she figured that starting with the basics was bound to lead to more conversation...hopefully.
