 Have you ever wanted superpowers? Has anyone ever told you you be careful what you wish for? In a world were there a special people who can access all of their mind's potential, some seek out the help and guidance of those more experienced. If you have the ability to do extraordinary things, perhaps Alpha Academy is the school for you.
After twenty years of fighting crime and catching the bad guy, Dr. Lee Rosen decided it was time to retire his team of Alphas. But they were not through helping people.
Thus, The Alpha Academy (Double A) was born. Headmastered by Dr. Rosen and led by his five teammates (Bill, Gary, Nina, Carmen and Rachel), The Academy is a safe haven for young Alphas to learn about their powers and abilities, as well as work on their negative side effects.
But when an old enemy, a man who believes he was terribly wronged by the Alphas in their prime comes back... is the very school at stake?
This is Alphas: The Next Generation.

Whoa, whoa, slow down. The show just premiered yesterday, and they've already got a Next Generation roleplay site??
Oh, and can anyone say "Xavier's School for the Gifted?"

Oh, and can anyone say "Xavier's School for the Gifted?" yes I do because I created the site and my RP plot about a month before the show aired so i wasn't sure how the format of the show was going to go. besides, a school allows for more characters and more interaction. Also, yes you can say that, considering the show is produced and directed by the guy who directed the X-Men movies... |

No, no, I know it's the same director, but the movies (which, btw, are based on comic books) and this TV series are pretty different. Er, as different as the whole super-power thing can get, anyway. But yours sounds almost exactly like X-men with the whole school thing...not that originality really matters, as long as you're having fun, but I just couldn't' resist throwing that in there...
And I didn't realize this was /your/ site. I thought it was another thing you found somewhere on the internet and liked. Now that I know /you're/ behind it, I understand.

@hawkpaw: Eh, I'm iffy. I like the concept a lot, and the plotline and whatnot, but something about the rough way it's put together bugs me. It doesn't really flow at all until they capture the assasin-guy (forgot his name already). Everyone's talking over one another and being confusing before you even get to really know the characters.

and yes it is exactly like X-School except for the fact that the X-Mansion was CANON and AA is not so there!

It changes things because A) now I realize it's just starting up and barely has two members to it's name, B) you're the type who, once you get an idea in your head, you always go all out, and C) I just expect this sort of thing of you. I mean, you are the one who has proposed everything from Warrior's podcasts to Warrior's musicals. It is a little...obsessive. (This coming from someone who takes meds for OCD...)

Oh, but I have mentioned that I've actually been clinically diagnosed with OCD, yes? And that I take pills for it? So I'm pretty sure that makes me officially the most obsessive of us all. ;D

I'm the most obsessive person I know! Once I get an idea in my head or find a new show I like, it's all I think or talk about for the next few months! I will stalk its wikipedia, do EXTENSIVE character research (which I have already begun on Gary), and join fanclubs, roleplay sites, etc. Seriously.
Oh, and I seriously think I have OCD...
