Okay, we seriously needed a thread for this. The List of Questions: Is anyone here NOT a fan? Who's seen the new movie? Thoughts? (I LOVED it.) Who else is depressed that there are no longer any more books or movies coming out? Who's heard about this Pottermore business? Did you guys sign up for the e-mails? Let's see... I've been a huge fan since third grade. Mom read the first book to me and then I went and reread it all on my own twice in a row. I've been totally and completely hooked since. Although I was a little more obsessed in the past than I am now, because I have other awesome series to obsess about too now. Just saw the movie yesterday. Overall, I'd say I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. I'm happy they kept the epilogue, too. Wasn't sure if they would. Of course, as with any movie based on a book I've read and loved, there are a couple things I'd change, but no big complaints. The Harry Potter movies usually do the books justice. Who else is depressed? ME. I mean, I'm happy with the way it ended, and I know it has to end somewhere, and they didn't drag it out too long but it didn't end too quickly, so it's totally perfect, but...I mean, I've been waiting for the next book or the next movie to come out for almost exactly half my life (I'm 18 and I was about nine when I started), so I feel a little lost. As for this Pottermore stuff, I watched this trailer for it, and J.K. Rowling goes on and on about how great it is, and never actually bothers to explain what it is. *annoyed* So, yeah. I have no idea. I've always thought I'd be a Ravenclaw, though I'd probably fit in well in any house. I took this quiz recently, one of the more accurate-looking ones, and I tied for Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, with Gryffindor one point off and Slytherin two points away.  ...I think I'd give the Sorting Hat a headache. XD |

Is anyone here NOT a fan? If so, they need to DIE! Not really, but I'm eternally angry with them now... Who's seen the new movie? Thoughts? (I LOVED it.) I ******* LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!! I got to the theatre at nine, played tag in the lobby with my cousins (They already let us in the theatre, but we were bored. XD), and met some really awesome people while waiting for it to start. We sang The Mysterious ticking noise over and over again and made wands from sticks while waiting for it to start. The movie itself was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone cheered when the death eaters and Voldemort died! (This made my laugh. When Molly called Bellatrix a ***** and killed her, everyone started cheering. Then when Harry killed Voldemort, everyone started cheering and screaming!) The movie was freaking awesome! Who else is depressed that there are no longer any more books or movies coming out? Who has two thumbs and is sad about this, *Double thumbs towards self* This girl... My dad keeps trying to convince me that the last scene was to set up for a sequel, and won't listen when I say that it's the end and that that was just an epilogue... I thought the books went against my beliefs when I was younger, and I became a walking, talking piece of propaganda up until grade ten. Then my friend forced the book on me and I became a closet fan. Three years later, I'm a fan, but I know that obsessing about it too much is pointless. Still, I force anyone I can to read the series. I haven't even seen the fifth movie yet. xD My friend said that they started falling apart after they got a new director for the fourth one. I kinda agree. Still, I'll probably demand a movie marathon soon.  I'm kind of depressed, but I haven't been a fan for very long so it's kind of… not important, I guess? Plus, Rowling killed Fred!! 3< There's nothing to look forward to. Nope. Do tell. Gryffindor, and it's not a guess. ;D I'd be BFFs with the twins, fo shizzle. OF COURSE. |

Um, favorite couple would have to be Hermione/Ron, and favorite Death Eater is Cissy (Or Narcissa, I believe her full name is, Draco's mom), closely followed by Draco.
