Sleetfoot smiled. "Good." He stood and headed back tot he boarder. He could tell the young cat was eager to finish, now that he mentioned more...fun training ahead. He started around the boarder, pointing out the landmarks and the more prominent features. It was about sun high when they finished. "Let's get back tot he lake and pick up my fish. Maybe we can have that if your hungry and we can stay out and start hunting. Unless you'd rather battle training first. Your choice, young one."

Bramblefoot nodded. "Hunting sounds like a good idea." Right after he said it, his stomach growled. "A very good idea!" he chuckled.

He smiled. "Remmber the warrior code, small one. We can't eat anything that we catch. We must bring it back to the camp. Except the fish of course." He headed back tot he lake.

Bramblepaw nodded. He realized the situation he was in, and would not disobey the warrior code. He followed his snow-white mentor and waited for further instruction.

The small apprentice started, nearly jumping out of his skin. He hesitated a moment, in a slight shock, then dashed off to a tree he remembered. His tiny jaws yawned open, tasting his own scent and knew he was going the right way. His face lowered to the ground, he sniffed out the trail like a bloodhound.

ic: "Found it!" he shouted. His nose had to be right on the dot. He started to furiously claw up the ground until he saw silvery scales, then began pawing so as not to tear up the fish. He grabbed it up in his jaws and padded back to Sleetfoot, his tail high.

Bramblepaw purred, set the fish down, and took a big bite. He hesitated, letting the salty tase seep onto his tongue. This stuff was delicious! After a moment to swallow, he wolfed down the rest. He sat and licked his muzzle, purring loudly.
