Sleetfoot's head lifted. This was his first Solstice with the Clan as well and he hoped his Snowhunting had proven helpful. He nudged Bluesky to stand and trotted over with her to sit below the Tallspire, looking up at Wildstar with pride and hunger in his eyes. he may not have been a StormClan warrior, but he was a MountainClan warrior, and he hopped the rest of the Clan agreed.

Wildstar looked down at the assembled cats with something that could be described as a mix between a motherly pride, and the slight, concerned look of the wise. It still gave the pure black she-cat a thrill to see all that her Clan had come through. It almost made her want to weep for joy. But, of course, being a leader did not allow her this kind of luxury. Instead, she smiled to herself, and began to speak.
"As you all know, this is MountainClan's first winter solstice. As the custom states, there is to be much feasting after a vast hunt. But, first, we shall give thanks. Thanks to StarClan that we have been provided with this meat, and thanks that we have Sleetfoot here to help us," Wildstar nodded in the warrior's direction. "Sleetfoot, would you like to do the honours for us? You have become a great asset to the Clan, and it only seems fitting that you be the one to give thanks."

Naturesong slid into the clearing, listening to Wildstar. Naturesong resided at the back of the crowded cats, shivering after the freezing snow had soaked into her fur, then skin. Sighing, she glanced over at Sleetfoot. The white warrior looked so calm, and to be honest, the orange she-cat was green with envy. He was getting so much attention, and he had taken mice right out of their nests! That freeloader didn't need any attention. If anything, he should be punished for killing the poor things. Their eyes! It hurt, so bad to watch their eyes!
Naturesong shook her short, striped coat. As a medicine cat apprentice, she wouldn't have to kill things- she'd be saving them! maybe one day she'd stumble upon the very same nest as the one Sleetfoot had raided, and she'd find one of the poor things was hurt, and unlike putting it out of it's misery, she would give it a longer life, to give it hope for a brighter day. Wow. She was honestly getting pretty freaky.
After snapping back to reality, she found her gaze was repeatedly slipping back to the medicine cat den. The piles of herbs were visible from where she sat, untouched and delicate. Naturesong longed to learn more of the medicine cat ways- of course, first she'd need to talk to Leopardmask. Ah, the life of an apprentice again, and the mysteries of StarClan, prophecies, and herbs, not to mention healing clanmates. It sounded like more fun then the thrill of the fight and catch put together! Plus, the den would provide some quiet time for her to think.
Why had she not considered it earlier?

Bluesky had followed Sleetfoot over to the other cats, and now her eyes were glowing. She was glad Wildstar had chosen him to give thanks, and she had her tail twined into his. She looked up and blinked warmly when Naturesong came in, then returned her eyes to Sleetfoot. She waited patiently for him to start.
((Whoo, brain block. Dx))

**Lol nice Wildy. We decided over PM. And sorry I was away for a bit...relationship...stuff...**
Sleetfoot's eyes shown with pride when WildStar turned to thank him for his help with the hunting. He had known since joining the Clan he was the best Winter hunter in the Clan, but he never expected this praise. His eyes widdened when she asked him to thank StarClan.
He had never hid his beliefs in his own warrior ancestors and though he gave much respect to StarClan he felt his first loyalty to the Ancient ones/. But WildStar was his leader now an she had asked of him a huge responsibility. He stood and looked around at the other cats, meeting each one in the eye. His gaze fell to NatureSong and he smiled weakly at her. he finnished meeting Bluesky's gaze. he licked her ear lightly before turning to WildStar.
"Thank you. This is a bigger honour than I could ever have imagined receiving after being here for so few moons but I will thank our ancestors like a true MountainClan cat." His gaze turned to the sky ware the stars were flickering with joy. "StarClan. MountainClan thanks you beyond all measures imaginable for the prey you have given us. We thank you for the shelter of MountainClan's new home and I thank you for leading me to my new Clanmates and friends. I know how much you look after us when we sleep and when we battle and I know you will forever protect us." He bowed his head then sat beside Bluesky again, letting his gaze flicker confidently back to his leader.
**My speach sorta...sucked...I can change it if theres something else ye want me to say...**

Bramblekit's eyes lit up. He was amazed that with such a shock as to be asked to give thanks to StarClan that he sounded so confident, like he had been a MountainClan cat since he was a newborn kit! He felt his sister relax. His eyes flicked to her, and he noticed her gaze had softened. She closed her eyes, breathing the gentle, crisp air, a puff of light breath visible in the cold. He didn't understand, for a moment, but then he noticed that he relaxed too. The whole Clan seemed to be more comfortable and less filled with exitement of the clan's first Solstice, as though StarClan themselves had breathed a gentle calm onto the cats. Suddenly feeling as though in a quiet, warm den, he instintively draped his tail over his sister's shoulders as if to get ready for sleep. He knew, however, that it would be rude to fall asleep at such a sacred time.

((And, Wildy, It says that Sleets has a crush on Blue in Sleets' stats. xD
Bluesleet would be an awesome Warrior name!))
Bluesky felt her heart thump proudly in her chest, and pressed her shoulder against Sleetfoot's. She licked his cheek in turn after his ears rasped warmly over hers, and butted his neck lightly with her head. She turned back to the other cats, and blinked warmly at the half -asleep Bramblekit. She inconspicuously lifted her butt off of the ice, to keep it from freezing into place. She settled back down again, and pricked her ears in Wildstar's direction. She felt the calm in the clearing, and waited patiently for her leader to speak.

**haha nice, They can name their kit Bluekit and have him become Bluesleet. It hink that'd be cool!**
Sleetfoot lay the rest of his body upon the hard ice and pressed his flank against Bluesky's. When she turned to look at Bramblekit, he turned his head as well. "He can sleep after WildStar has dismissed us. He deserves a good nap." His mew was soft, only for Bluesky's ears. Then he turned his head back to Wildstar and beside him, he felt Bluesky lift her rump of the ice. A huge smile broke across his face and he snuggled closer to her, wrapping his tail around her rear. He waited patiently for anything more Wildstar had to say.

((-replies to the last rping post- lol, and they can have Sleetsky, too!))
Bluesky felt Sleetfoot's tail wrap around her, and held back a humongus purr that would have seemed random to the others in the clearing. She nodded and breathed a "Yes, he does" into Sleetfoot's ear. She glanced at Wildstar and waited for her to continue.
