ooc: bic: Bramblekit froze. He knew, deep in his heart, that this was against the warrior code, but his paralyzing exitement won over. Hunting? What a task! What an honor! What a crime! protested his brain, but he ignored it. "That would be great," Bramblekit whispered. At the moment, he didn't even care what he would do if they were caught. Oh, what his mother would do!

**Haha! We need some excitement here in MountainClan!**
He smiled and turned, beckoning with his tail for the young cat to fallow. he slipped out of the camp entrance and trotted to a nice spot a few tail lengths into the woods. He paused and sat, waiting for the small tom to emerge from the trees.

After a short amount of searching, the kit found the perfect little hole in the camp wall just the right size to wriggle through. Dropping the twig he was carrying, he made sure no cat was watching him, and squeezed through the break. It didn't take him long to spot Sleetfoot in front of the dark bark of the trees. His paws kneaded the ground, anxious to begin his first ever hunt. "Sleetfoot," he inquired, "Are you sure we'd find something worth the hunting in leaf-bare?" It wasn't the best question to ask, but he couldn't go far without knowing.

there was a twinkle of amusement in the Snow Warrior's eyes. He swished his tail in the general direction of deeper forest. "Of course, if you know where to look for it. See, where I came from our Leafbare was like your Greenleaf. There is plenty of pray, and I know how to find it." He didn't want to lead the small cat too far into the woods but he still wanted to give him the feeling of what it was like to be hunting and they couldn't do that with the smell of the camp close by.
He stood and lifted his sensitive nose. He had been trained to sniff through ice so it wasn't long before he recognized mouse. But it would be too faint for the young Mountain nose of Bramblekit, so he beckoned the smaller tom to fallow. He started at a slow pace, going only about twenty tail-lengths before stopping. "Can you smell anything? Prey? It'll smell the same as when you eat, but fresher. Alive."
