Willowkit brightened even more and quietly walked off to pester her mother, who was grooming by the Tallspire. Bramblekit looked quizzically at Sleetfoot. "What's with her?"

Sleetfoot shrugged. Well, at least as much as a cat could shrug. He smiled down at the little kit. Why don't you fallow her." He rubbed his paw over the Bramblekit's headfur. "You could use a good grooming."

Bramblekit made a face, but obeyed. "Hey, Willowkit! Wait up!"

Flowertail's head turned to face her younger kit. "Yes, Willowkit?"
"What's everyone talking about?" she asked, though she already had a hunch.
Flowertail at first didn't know how her kit could've learned, but then she realized all the buzzing conversation. She knew she wasn't allowed to tell wither of them. "Hmm. You'll see." Was all she wanted to let out.
ooc: And brainblock rears its ugly head. Yuk.

Sleetfoot stood once the second kit hurried away. He trotted over to stand beside the others. He looked around, suddenly aware that someone wasn't back from her little hunting patrol. "I'm going to step out for a few minutes. I'll be back in time, but I think every cat should be present for it." He stepped backwards and headed out of the camp. Once he was far enough away he started calling out. "Naturesong! Hey! Where are you! We're going to be having the ceremony soon and you should be here for it!" He headed back tot e spot where he had last seen her.

Sleetfoot started to get worried when he couldn't find the she-cat. She had been here earlier, and her scent was still fresh in the spot behind the shrub. He glanced around and fallowed the scent. But he couldn't be out long. He wondered what he would have to do if it came down to it. Keep looking for the lost cat, or return to camp for the ceremony? What was more important? His medicine cat or his apprentice? He hoped desperately that he wouldn't be forced to make that choice. "Naturesong! Where are you!"
