Wildstar looked down at the camp beneath her. The Clan had survived another leaf-bare in their home (now, not-so-new), and was gathering more apprentices and warriors as the moons passed. Taking a deep breath of fresh, mountain air, the black she-cat could swear she scented Pinestar. Illusion or no, the former leader of StormClan was watching over them. The leader smiled. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join me beneath the Tallspire for a Clan meeting," she called, and felt a breeze ruffle her whiskers approvingly. 'Thank you, Pinestar,' she thought to herself. - Falcontail had been rummaging through the fresh-kill pile at the time Wildstar had called, and dropped a hawk he had been in the process of plucking. He hadn't been part of a Clan ceremony for many moons, and he was glad to be part of a Clan again. Instead of voicing his thoughts, lest anycat should hear, the ginger tabby tom ran a paw across his muzzle. "What's the ol' she-cat want now?"

ooc: This is going back in time, yes? Are Bramble, Willow, and Regal already apprentices?

Ooc: Only by a little bit, since Falcontail is a fairly new addition to the Clan. And yes, all three are apprentices at this time.

((Okay, so I'm going with the assumption that Starpaw is Starlight. If that's wrong, please correct me.))
Starlight obediently emerged from her den and sat in her usual secluded spot, at the edge of the clearing. She glanced around at the cats leaving their fresh-kill or their dens to sit below Tallspire. She wondered briefly what Wildstar had to say. Oh, yes. Rosekit was six moons old. It was about time she got out of camp and put her energy to work.
((Rosepaw needs some stats, please.))

Shadowchase was already awake when Wildstar yowled for a clan meeting. He quickly finished grooming and nudged Foxfangs beside him. "Clan meeting, wake Mudsplatter," He murmured into her ear, padding out of the den. He emerged into the crisp sunlight, fluffy fur gleaming brightly. He paused for a moment by the nursery, then continued to the tallspire.
Foxfangs grunted as the tortoiseshell tom left, yawning widely. She stumbled out of her nest and flicked a stray flower off her shoulder, turning to the sleeping dark brown cat who'd been beside her. "Oi, sleepyhead, let's go," She poked at him until he gave in and got up, grumbling about beauty sleep and other nonsense as they headed to the meeting place.
Bluesky heard their leader's call from inside the nursery, after a moment stopping from reaching out for Sleetfoot. She still wasn't used to the lack of the warm white tom beside her, but she enjoyed taking care of their kits. She nudged them all awake, smiling as they tried to push her off. "Rosekit is becoming an apprentice today, don't you want to watch?" Without waiting for an answer, she padded to the entrance to the nursery and sat down.
((Rrrrrx, it's hard to have other people controlling her kits. D8))

Rosekit was nearly bursting with excitement. She was finally going to be an apprentice! She padded out of the nursery with her tail high in the air. She suddenly stopped. Maybe she could impress the other apprentices with her stalking skills! She quickly ducked into the bushes, creeping toward Willowpaw. She felt as if she could hardly breathe. She waited until she got close enough, and pounced. Willowpaw squealed as she bounded onto her, and then Rosekit quickly darted toward the Tallspire.

ooc: Ohnu, I've been pp'd into squealing. D8 Oh well, I was gonna do that anyway. ;D
Also you still called yourself Rosepaw XD'
ic: Willowpaw was just walking from the fresh-kill pile to see what the meeting was all about when she found herself on the ground. After a shriek and an "oof", she knew who it was who had just pounced on her.
Of course the meeting was Rosekit's apprentice ceremony. She was just the right age, though it would be hard for her to really get used to the fact that she wasn't a kit anymore.
But Willowpaw would not be outdone. She ran after the kit, anxious to get her back. She leaped at her back when she was sure Rosekit wasn't looking behind her. "No you don't, Rosekit!" She laughed.
Bramblepaw's attention was drawn to the loud noises coming from them and he tried to walk over inconspicuously to his sister and his friend. "I think we all know what's happening today!" He said with a chuckle.
Flowertail shook her head at them and went to go sit beside Mudsplatter. "Looks like someone just got up!" She giggled.

ooc: I did? oops!
Rosekit felt Willowpaw tackle her before she knew what was happening. "Hey! That's not fair!" she hissed, kicking Willowpaw a little with her hind feet.

**Screaming, not squeeling**
Sleetfoot poked his head out of the warriors den. A cerimony. Great! This would be fun. The only cerimony he had ever whitnessed resulted in his becoming a mentor. It would be cool to see it froma different perspective.
He spotted his mate and kits stepping from the nurcery. Grinning, he bounded up to them. Coldkit met her father with a very distinctive bow. "Good morning to you, father. The weather is looking very pleasent this day." The white tom blinked at his daughter. Ok...that was weird. They sure do grow up fast. Coldkit trotted forward to sit beside Lightfur.

OoC: In this post, Dawnkit is a spazz. =D How fun.
BiC: Dawnkit tumbled out of the den and into the fresh air happily. "Meeting, a meeting, we're going to a meeting!" she cried in a singsong voice, happy that Mommy had decided to take them. She blinked as Coldkit addressed Sleetfoot formally, then shrugged off her astonishment. Coldkit was obviously just being silly. With a yell of "Daddy!", the little goldenrod-colored she-kit launched herself at her father. "Why is there a meeting, Daddy?" she asked, nudging at the white tom with her little muzzle. "Is it going to be fun?" She looked over at Coldkit and Lightfur, then back to her father. "Daddy, Mommy, let's all sit with Coldkit and Lightfur!" she begged. "Come on, come on!"
Without waiting for a response from her family, she darted over to her sister and poked at her. "Coldkit, Coldkit, can I sit by you? What do you think is going on?" Dawnkit spared a quick glance and a greeting to Lightfur before turning back to the white kit. "Hi Lightfur! Coldkit, are you listening to me?"
Lightfur smiled to herself at the antics of the kits- both Coldkit's seriousness and Dawnkit's physical and verbal acrobatics- and nodded her greeting to them before turning her attention back to the Tallspire. Of course it was time for Rosekit to be gifted with her apprentice name, and it made her happy to see kits growing up. There was a little sad nostalgia in her gaze as she recalled her own apprenticeship, but she shook that off. Thoughts of StormClan and the ghosts of the past didn't belong here, on such a bright and happy day. MountainClan was growing a little today, and that was good.
Turning a little, she saw Sleetfoot and Bluesky, along with Rainkit, near the entrance to the queens' den. "Bluesky, Sleetfoot!" she called. "Over here!" She beckoned them over with her dark-tipped, luxurious tail.
Pearlclaw yawned and blinked as she looked up at the sky. The sun was bright, and her pupils had been reduced to black slits in their green-gold surroundings. She trotted towards the Tallspire and chose a comfortable, sun-warmed spot to sit and relax as the Clan assembled. Once settled, she looked around to see where everybody was, and straightaway spotted her apprentice Willowpaw. The pretty grey tabby was tussling with Rosekit, and they looked like they were having a good time. It seemed like the whole Clan was sure that today's meeting was regarding Rosekit's apprentice ceremony, and Pearlclaw agreed. Whoever got Rosekit-, well, Rosepaw- as an apprentice would have their paws full, for sure. Pearlclaw was quite curious as to who it would be, actually.

**When isn't she? I'm just gonna post. Haha, wow lighty, nice witht he song ** Sleetfoot smiled down at his tiny kit. He just couldn't believe that she was his! He hadn't been that cute as a kit. He had been about to reply to the little kit's question when she bounded off to sit with her sister and the deputy. He closed his mouth and sighed. Kits nowadays. What'll you do? Coldkit looked over at her sister, blinking owlishly. She was such a kit. She was about to reply when the other she-kit turned to the deputy. Her eyes widened when she was asked if she was paying attention. She was such an annoying furball! "You need to ask Lightfur if you can sit here. It is her spot." At Lightfur's call, Sleetfoot wrapped his tail around Bluesky and led her over to the deputy and his kits. He knew that Rainkit wouldn't dare leave her mother's side and would follow. He released his amte once they had made it to Lightfur's spot. He dipped his head to the deputy. "Good morning Lightfur. It is is a beautiful day for an apprentice cerimony." Fallentree heard the call and started to inch toward the mouth of his den. Luckely, the elders had been given the dent hat looked directly out to the clearing. He lay down in the large opening, away from his clanmates but close enough that he could still hear what was gong on. He had whitness many apprenticeships but they where all very dear and special to him.

Regalpaw exited the apprentices den and nearly tripped over Willowpaw and Rosekit. He was excited that a new apprentice was coming, he would have less duties, but annoyed that the den would be more full. He nodded to the she-cats and Bramblepaw before hedign over to sit by his mentor. He couldn't help but notice that she seemed popular today, with three kits and two warriors surrounding her. He decided instead that she probably had too mcuh company already and went to sit alone in the center of the clearing.

OoC: Sleety- true, very true. xD I'm loving playing a kit for the first time, can you tell? …Also, I kind of feel like we need someone to play Rainkit. At this point he's like a zombie. Does anyone who's under the charrie limit want to pick him up, or should we NPC-ify him for now? BiC: Lightfur returned Sleetfoot's nod, then replied to his comment. "It truly is beautiful, isn't it? I spotted some wildflowers while out on patrol yesterday, and just feel how warm it is! I guess leaf-bare is really over. Finally!" she added. Despite her long, sandy-golden fur, the bitter cold of the snow and ice on the mountain got to even the deputy eventually. Dawnkit stuck her little pink tongue out at Coldkit, then tapped Lightfur's side with her paw. "Lightfur, Lightfur, can I sit here please? With Coldkit? And you? And everybody?" She grinned happily up at her parents before turning her attention back to the deputy. "Of course, Dawnkit." Lightfur replied. "All of you are very welcome." It rather amused her that she appeared to be attracting cats like a magnet. (OoC: Do warrior cats even know what magnets are? *) The golden kit turned back to her fluffy white sister. "She said yes, Coldkit! Coldkit, are you excited? Just think! Soon we'll have a ceremony just like this, and we'll be apprentices! Isn't that awesome?" She had no sooner sat down than she was up again, bouncing in place, unable to keep still. Lightfur looked around again, and saw that Regalpaw and Fallentree had emerged into the clearing. Regalpaw looked for a moment as if he were going to come over, but he seemed to change his mind, and sat down by himself. The golden deputy frowned slightly. Was something wrong? She wove her head back and forth slightly, trying to catch his eye, and called "Regalpaw! Why don't you join us?" It was nice to be surrounded by a seething mass of her ClanMates. Soothing. And it was a little sad to see her apprentice sitting by himself, since the other apprentices were chatting with Rosekit. Pearlclaw's attention was drawn to Fallentree as the elder emerged from his den. She got up, with a slight regret at leaving her sunny spot, and made her way over to the elder. The white-and-black she-cat paused a little ways away, not wanting to bother him, and called softly. "Fallentree? If you'd like, there's a nice spot over this way." She gestured with her tail. It wasn't too far from where the elder was sitting, still out of the way of the Clan's chaos, and would be much easier on his bones. It was odd that the aggressive Pearlclaw was being so thoughtful, but she had a soft spot for elders and especially Fallentree.

**I could (and would /love/ to) pick him up, if it's okay with everyone else, especially Bluesky.**
Starlight felt a surge of warmth as she watched her clan come together. Leaf-bare was coming to a close and spirits were lifting. Movement at the elder's den caught her eye. Great StarClan, it was a wonder something so fragile could still be so full of love and life.
Then she turned her eyes to Wildstar. Every cat was gathered ((right?)) and Wildstar would soon give Rosekit her apprentice name.
