Something I am dreading, and yet something that will eventually happen. Unfortunately, it means less time at home (which eventually creates the domino effect of less time with you guys).
Anyways, anyone else have a job/getting a job/getting a life that we should know about. D:

OH! OH! ME! ME! My second official job. I'm applying to be a hostess at Taglioni's (an Italian reteraunt . . . bread and pasta!) now that I'm sixteen.

I'm getting an interview for Micky D's tomorrow. I'd rather work at DQ, but at least it's in a Walmart plaza.
(PS There was no subliminal messaging. Now, go buy stuff!)

I had an application for the ice rink but I am going to cali in a month and it isn't worth it. I am going to apply to a few places near our house, Coldstone, Starbucks, Subway, Ralfs and Rite Aide. Maybe this little pizza place.

In, uh, three years, I want to work at this place called Dots. It's already super-cheap, and employee discount makes it even better. c: Or Panakooken(sp), just so I can run around yelling 'Paaaaaaaaaannnnnnaaaakkoooooookkkeeeeennnnnn!'

Congrats, Lustry! I would most likely fail at any job that wasn't at a bookstore, plus you can't get any good jobs where I am unless you're at least sixteen. I stick with babysitting and a little tutoring for now. ^^ (Granted, this means I'm constantly broke, but with my classes I would have absolutely no time for an actual job.) My obligatory response to the name of Walmart is located below. =3 Don't look at it if you don't want to, I just feel like I have to throw links and mildly hilarious Youtube videos at people to illustrate the evils of Walmart. (the videos are super funny even if you don't really care about the evils perpetrated by Walmart) ...I dislike Walmart, ever since we watched Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices in Government/Economics last year. www.walmartwatch.comwalmartwatch.com/potter/

I feel like you're trying to get back at me for making you watch that YGO! abridged trailer. ^_^u I'm so used to their less-than-pleasant lingo that I forget about it until someone says it's disturbing. Dx
Also, I don't work at Walmart, just a Micky D's in a Walmart. It sucks because I have to use the Walmart changerooms to get into my uniform. Ew.
By the way, Hermione and the Phoenix were my favourite in the first video. xD

No way Sleety! o.o That would be so awesome! You would have to tell us about it! =O
Lustry: Nah, very little revenge involved here. Okay, maybe some. But mostly it's an ingrained reaction to the world 'Walmart'. It's funny at my house when a Walmart commercial comes on TV. Half the people in the room will shudder and go, "evil, eeevviiill." Or at least I will, and other people make faces or shout rude things at the television. My friend got me started on the whole anti-Walmart thing, and then I got my siblings involved. =D
We encountered a slight moral dilemma when my aunt (who sadly shops obsessively at Walmart, and since we see her perhaps twice a year at the upside, usually not even once a year, we have been unable to convince her to stop) gave my mom a Walmart gift card and my sister and I were granted the right the decide whether its use would be ethical. We decided that not only was it ethical to use it, it was necessary. Since Walmart had already received the money for the card, if they did not have to relinquish an appropriate number of products in return they would thus make an even larger profit.
We told my mom this and she agreed. =3 My mom can be good about these things. When she was going to buy us all matching Walmart T-shirts like our cousins were getting for our family reunion, she listened to us kids when we refused to let her.
ANYHOW. >_> I'm done with my lame rambling about Walmart now. You can ignore me.

You say that we can ignore you, but it is the last thing you say and therefore there is nothing left to ignore.
