Healing Stones and Their Cats
Gems, crystals and stones have special healing traits based on the nature of the stone. Each cat ‘bonds’ with a single stone and it then works as something of a good luck charm. It does whatever the cat needs it to, like a single god-stone for that cat. It is very rare that a single stone will bond with more than one cat in an area. Some cats never find their bond stone due to the region that they live in but when it happens you know right away.
Some cats bond due to the colouration of the stone. If it matches the cats pelt or eyes they may feel a connection. Some cats enjoy the way the light shines through the stone. Others enjoy the patterns on the surface. Even Galaxyfur has been so far unable to calculate how exactly a stone picks a cat.
I wanted dear old Glazy to have done something memorable in his time as MountainClan Medicine Cat so I've decided to have had him spend his life studying gemstones and their healing properties. I have compiled this list of all of the gemstones I know the healing abilities of. Starlight is not required to continue using healing stones as the head Medic if she does not wish but in any and all 'past' roleplays where Galaxy is head, they will be used.

*Note: I have chosen Starlight’s stone to be Leopard Jasper due to the ‘Disaster Roleplay’ plot. If Starry wishes to chose her own stone I will gladly change it. I figured with his last breath Galaxyfur would have handed her the stone as he spoke the prophecy to her. Or if he tells her after he is in StarClan, she wakes and finds a Leopard Jasper stone near her nest.
