Nothappyplz.  His fur is SUPPOSED to be cream that is red-brown at the tips. I don't think I did it well. The lines are too thick. Swiftmask came out UGLEH. -diesnow- |

I agree the coloring effects (affects? I can never get that straight) are a little awkward (no killing deputy plz kthx), but personally I think the lineart is lovely. Much better than any line art I've ever done in my life (although that alone isn't much of a compliment, lol.). I've always admired your lineart. I love the fluff, tail, eyes and paws especially.

No. I'm doing that in Photoshop with the pencil tool so it's easily colored. I'll probably steal that pose though, it's so much easier to draw than sitting, and it shows off the entire design. (all four paws ftw)  WIP. Before I put down the ever-anticipated linearts, I want some feedback on the proportions. Burntfur has more human-ish eyes than this generic kitty because talking to you guys about cats makes me feel that way about them,\. ^^ Also, does anyone know a good art critique forum? I go to Neondragonart, but I don't get a ton of comments there. Or on DA for that matter. ((I ask because I need some help on the God's Tailor piece that I have up on DA.)) |
