Ok, so I'm gonna start a role playing forum for the Harry potter world, and I kinda need suggestions.
First, it won't be just centered in a school, it would be in the entire wizarding community.
But!
Idk what country to base it in, and I need some kind of theme to work with, not Voldemort, obviously, but something similar that would actually create a plot instead of random pointless posts.
Any ideas?
Other suggestions would also be helpfull.

Ya, What I was thinking was having all kinds of races and cultured people in it, but have it based in some country or other where these wizards all end up. and in this specific country something is going down, like an organization or something plotting stuff, like Voldemort, but yet not like Voldemort, some different ideal behind it though, that's why I was asking for suggestions on that.
But I was also thinking that standards would be different as well. Prejudice against mud bloods and squibs would be all but forgotten about, but then again rivalries between the nationalities would end up being a problem, and equal rights for different races would also still be a controversy.
This would of coarse be after the time of the Great Harry Potter and all of his friends, so new magic and technology would be available to learn and use, and new knowledge about things. Also, there should be some new stuff happening between muggle-wizard relations and all that.
So Its a start, but It wouldn't be a one person job.

Wands.........some plot about wands.......... I'll think of more when it comes to me......
EDIT: You know how Olivander was saying that people have been trying for a long time to understand the true properties that make a wand, a wand? And how they work, how its all very mysterious? Something like that...........
"The wand chooses the wizard"..........but what does it base its choices on?
Bad guys..........want to use the instinct and intelligence of the wands........
EDIT: The Bad guys want to control the magic! to be the ones in charge of the wand's choices! Yes, wizards can use magic without wands, but they are what lets the wizard channel the magic in the way they want to.
So this group of people, not particularly prejudice against blood, but maybe like I was saying, nationality, or maybe opinion, but I like nationality stuff. They see them as unworthy of using magic, and start to wonder why Wands choose the way they do. Why would a wand obey (insert group of people here) when they are so reclace, or so so ignorant, or you get the idea. They start to ponder what makes the wand tick, and start doing experiments and all that Jazz. They end up wanting to be the ones who have the power to decide who gets to use magic and who cannot command a wand at all. of coarse, the protagonists (AKA us) won't alow that, Magic is free, can be used by all, and fearing another incident like that of Voldemort, they have to put a stop to it.
......needs more details, yes, but I like where it is going......

That would ultimately be the main series plot, but there would be smaller plots inside it, like the different books all leading to the final confrontation.
