Other Roleplays—Here's How This is Gonna Work
First and foremost, please note that while the staff of MountainClan are excited to explore this new addition to our site, our emphasis is still on the Warriors roleplay. Please make sure you're caught up in the Warriors plot(s) before joining or replying to one of our Other Roleplays. If you already have trouble keeping up with MC, it is probably not a good idea to get caught up in one of these roleplays. Thank you.
Now, on to business. Other Roleplays consists of roleplays created and maintained by the members of MC. It all starts with the creator, who comes up with an idea for a plot. She goes to Wildstar, via PM, and gives a summary of her idea. If Wildstar approves the roleplay, the creator then either chooses or is assigned to a staff sponsor for the roleplay (unless the creator is already a member of the staff). The job of the sponsor is to help with the organizational and technical aspects of the roleplay, such as creating the roleplay board and advising the creator.
The sponsor is also the creator's link to the staff. While the creator has the responsibility of maintaining her own roleplay, the staff (aka Wildstar) still has the ultimate authority over all roleplays. From today on, the staff will begin holding regular meetings every week or every other week to discuss the site, as well as the direction of all plots and roleplays within the site. The sponsor is the creator's representation in these discussions.
So now that you know how to get started, I'm afraid I have to tell you that we're not taking roleplay requests at this time. The staff has created two or three roleplays to start out, and we want to see how this works and figure out the finer details before we allow any more roleplays to be created. However, everyone is welcome to participate in these plots!
