Power: Telekinesis (a.k.a. psychokinesis); the ability to move object with willpower/mindpower.
Personality: Straightforward, optimistic, and friendly. Or, at least he tries to be friendly, but he can be very socially awkward after being isolated for most of his life. Can be painfully naïve (again with the isolation bit). He has a strong sense of justice, but he sees things in black-and-white. It’s either right or it’s wrong. He can be very close-minded that way, too. He’s humble rather than egotistical, and in general kind of balances out his sister. Speaking of, he’s very fond of, loyal to, and protective of his sister, despite her contrariness (sister complex!). Since the very beginning, they could really only rely on each other.
Appearance: Thin, not muscular. His hair is short and cut in messy layers. It’s light, sandy brown, and his eyes are dark brown. He’s a bit taller than average, and has a long torso. Not a lot of body or facial hair, and what he does have his mostly clear/unnoticeable. Unlike his sister, but like most teenagers, he has occasional breakouts. (Just thought I’d put that in there.)
Skills and Shortcomings: He’s an excellent runner, but not very strong for a guy, and a bit uncoordinated and clumsy. He’s generally pretty bad at sports, except for track. (Not that he’s ever had the chance to be on a track team.) He’s not so great at subtle, and can be very oblivious. He’s of average intelligence.
Likes: Running, American food (hamburgers and milkshakes, that sort of thing), Coke or Pepsi (he’s not picky), and videogames
Dislikes: Spicy foods and "bad" people
History: He and Cassie came to the research facility when he was six and she was four, and have lived there most their lives. What life was like for them before then is, at this point, unknown. Don't worry, the story comes out later.
And because this topic has already come up elsewhere, I'll talk a bit about his power. It was awakened early because of a traumatic experience, and between that and the level five strength of his power, his telekinesis became highly unstable. He would have sudden outbursts of uncontrollable psychic energy, and the people in the research facility would have to contain him in a special ESP resistant room for hours on end, so that he wouldn't hurt anybody. However, after a few months, the fits gradually started becoming more rare. Now Kael goes multiple months without any problems, and when his powers do spike it's usually not as bad or doesn't last as long. He's more or less growing out of it.
