Please post all side character profiles here. Side characters refer to characters that are not the main psychic characters, but employed to the research facility and/or government. If you do not want to actually claim one of these characters, you may add an "NPC," a character that anyone is allowed to control in their posts, to the NPC list.
Side characters and NPCs may have weak psychic abilities, level two and under.

Name: Dr. Jayson Carter
Sex: Male
Age: 45
Power: n/a
Position: Is the head, or the “director,” of the facility. The doctor in charge, so to speak.
Personality: At first, Dr. Carter seems flippant and cheerful, but is actually very serious about his job and the psychics under his care. Unlike most of the other scientists, he cares for each of them as individuals, as humans, and as children. He wants what’s best for them, but that’s hard to achieve when he has a cynical staff and a government to answer to. Still, he hides these concerns behind a good-humored and playful nature.
Appearance: Tall and thin, but with a pot-belly. His dark hair is turning gray and his widow’s peak is receding. The most prominent wrinkles are his laugh lines and crows’ feet, but he has his share of worry-lines, as well. He wears large, black spectacles, and always wears a button-up shirt and tie to work.
Skills and Shortcomings: Very intelligent, a good leader, and he knows when he has to be serious, but he has a tendency to goof-off whenever he can.
Likes: Jokes and puns, reading and watching comedies and satires, coffee
Dislikes: Humorless people and party-poopers
History: Basically a lot of college and studying. Learned to relieve stress by laughing, which is why he’s such a goofy guy. His wife and daughter are both psychics, which is part of why he cares so much for the psychics under his charge.

Name: Dr. Owen Rice
Sex: Male
Age: 34
Power: Level 2 Telepath
Personality: Dr. Rice is a bit of a joke amongst the other scientists and the psychics. He is a newcomer, and so eager to make a good impression that sometimes he comes across as having the attitude of a puppy. He is very clever and innovative in theory, but most of the people who know him wonder how he managed his doctorate. Dr. Rice is easily befuddled by his unfamiliar surroundings, and tends to get lost in the facility. He is fascinated by the research being done on psychics, and he comes up with many experiments to be run on the residents of the facility to determine to what extent and how their powers work. As a Level 1 Telepath, Dr. Rice has a special interest in psychic research and is also quite sympathetic towards the residents of the research facility. However, he sometimes gets distracted by the potential for learning through experiments and almost forgets that the research subjects are people with feelings. This is not from any malicious intent, but merely because Dr. Rice is a bit of an airhead. He has a strange accent, mostly British but can put on a perfect Welsh or Scottish accent due to his parentage.
Appearance: Dr. Rice is a relatively young man of medium height, skinny, with short, dark brown hair and a close-cropped beard and mustache. He wears thin-rimmed glasses and has a ready smile. His nose is slightly crooked, as if it had been broken and healed incorrectly. He generally starts out dressed neatly, but by the end of the day his lab coat is askew, his tie has come half-undone, and his glasses are tilted. He keeps his hair quite short so that it isn't mussed easily.
Skills and Shortcomings: Dr. Rice knows both Welsh and Gaelic in addition to English, and is learning Cornish. He knows a lot about psychics and is quite intelligent really, although a bit of a klutz. His Telepath skills, being Level 2, are nothing too special, since he can only communicate by concentrating without distractions, can only communicate extremely simple concepts and images, and can only communicate with those he knows well, rendering his skill pretty much useless in everyday life. He also has a terrible sense of direction and gets lost constantly even on familiar routes.
Likes: Research, reading, flying kites, experiments, checkers, Celtic languages, his goldfish Madoc and Caoimhe.
Dislikes: Getting lost, dress codes, budget cuts, bitter foods.
History: Dr. Rice was born in the UK to a Welsh father and a Scottish mother, was raised there and did his undergraduate work at Cambridge before coming to the US and earning his doctorate from Yale. He was recruited shortly after earning his doctorate when the facility realized that they needed a Welsh speaker to help deal with their new Welsh-speaking psychic residents.

Name: Dr. Natasha Kaminski
Sex: Female
Age: 39
Power: Healer (rumored- unknown level)
Personality: Dr. Kaminski is known for being extremely reticent, and rarely speaks unless asked a direct question or in the line of her work. She is a very competent medical professional, extremely intelligent and very well-qualified for her position as head medical doctor at the facility. She has nothing to do with the experimentation done on the psychic residents, but is in charge of keeping them healthy. Dr. Kaminski is so good at what she does that there are rumors that she is a psychic healer who uses her abilities to augment her skills as a doctor. She has as good an understanding of the genetic basis of psychic abilities as any scientist, given her doctorate in Genetics. She prefers reading or working to socializing, and subscribes to many medical journals. Dr. Kaminski corresponds by email or letter with top professionals in medical and psychic research all over the world. She is said to have an IQ nearly off the charts, although as with her rumored psychic abilities, no one knows if this is true. Dr. Kaminski speaks fluent German, Spanish, and Russian in addition to English.
Appearance: Dr. Kaminski is on the tall side, lean and fit, with bobbed white-blond hair that frames her face. Her skin is very pale, as are her eyes, which are an ice-blue and capable of a piercing stare. She wears little make-up and dresses formally beneath her pristine lab coat. She eschews heels in favor of more practical flats, and wears no jewelry besides stud earrings.
Skills and Shortcomings: Dr. Kaminski possesses incredible intellect and immense skill as a doctor. She speaks perfect English, Russian, German and Spanish. She possesses both a medical degree and a doctorate in Genetics, and she has connections to high-profile doctors and researchers all over the world. She speaks very little, and never socializes. Her people skills are very poor. She also refuses to engage in research on the psychics, instead making their health her sole concern. Dr. Kaminski is a difficult person to like, although she is easy to respect.
Likes: Reading, medicine, scholarly and medical journals, being left alone, complicated sudoku puzzles, chess, cats.
Dislikes: Socializing, exploitation of psychics, games, bad doctors.
History: Dr. Natasha Kaminski was born in Russia to a Russian doctor and his American wife, also a doctor. When she was young her parents divorced, and while she lived in Russia with her father for a few years, she was sent to live in America with her mother at the age of nine. Despite the upheaval in her life, she excelled in school and was accepted to Harvard at the age of sixteen. She stayed there until she obtained her medical degree, then earned her doctorate in Genetics from Stanford. Meanwhile, she learned Spanish. Straight out of Standford, she was recruited by a medical research facility in Germany, where she worked until she received an offer from the premier American psychic research facility, which was looking for a medical doctor to head their health regime. She accepted the offer, and has been working here for several years now.

Name: Earnest Callaway Gender: Male Age: 23 years Power: Force fields
Appearance: Dark red hair. Gray eyes. Slim build. Roughly 6'. Very put together. Personality: True to his name, Doc is very honest and driven by emotions. Around the patients he presents himself as a cold and sarcastic man, mostly because he finds it very difficult to express his emotions. Skills/Shortcomings: Rather strong despite his appearance. He is incredibly intelligent, but has trouble conveying entire thoughts to others (often trails off mid-sentence or says something completely wrong). Doc is an incredibly powerful psychic, and was formerly one of the patients before getting his power under control; his level is undetermined.
Likes: American Chinese food, working out, salt, his job (sometimes hard to tell). Dislikes: Government officials, tears, rabbits, and being touched.
History: Doc Earnest grew up relatively normal except for his overwhelming fear of being touched. During middle school he unwittingly created his first force field (which happens to be the largest in recorded history), prompting the school to alert the government and tip off the FBI. He was not given the option to live in regular society due to his unreadable level, and was admitted at fourteen. He has unrequited feelings for Ramara, and is unable to convey what he feels for her. His biggest dream is to marry her. Currently working as an intern.
