The day had been savage for the White Warrior. he had trekked through a harsh forest before finding himself at the foot of a mountain. At least there he would have the chance to stumble upon a small cave where he could spend the night. He was used to the cold wind that bit at his fur but his paws where weary and didn't numb easily and he found himself slipping on the large boulders covered in ice. He, the proud deputy if /IceClan/ was slipping on ice. He closed his eyes and tried to think to himself that a cave couldn't be far off.
And he was right. It wasn't long until he had found a nice shelter. It wasn't fancy but it was somewhere he could lay down and rest his paws. He sat in the center of the dry soil and stared out of the mouth thinking back on all that had happened sense the first battle. Before he had realized or even had a chance to stop it, his eyelids drooped and he was sucked in by sleep.
His eyes opened and he found himself in a large cave, much larger than the one he had fallen asleep in. He looked around calmly. he could smell cats but heard and saw none until one pure white shape took frame. The solid white cat bowed his head to the glowing one and spoke. "Icestar why are you hear?" "My grandkit. You have left the High Lands because you have had no choice and you are respected. IceClan will live on through you and your father." Another shape materialized in the cave and stepped forward to touch noses with the tom. She was a beautiful dark brown she-cat whose sent filled her son's nose with peace but also a quick sense of unnerve. She had left with his father to search for a new territory. "My son, you are safe." "I am, but you are not?" "i am happy where i am. Your father is doing well. he has found a land with four other Clans and is meeting with their leaders in two Moonrises to discuss territory. He wishes to get one between the river and the flatlands. But that is not concern for you know. Your paws tread a different path. This path." She gestured with her tail to the cavern. "I am a traitor to my Lands. i have fled because I wasn't strong enough to fight Them off." "No my son." The she-cat laid her tail over the younger cat's shoulders. 'You did what you had to do. Your sister chose her path and she lives happily with FireClan now." "FireClan?" He chuckled slightly. 'She couldn't have chosen a more opposite Clan." "But you are not a traitor. Your decisions have been accepted now. But we must go. There someone else who seeks your voice ad he wishes to be alone with you." The two cats started to fade whilst another appeared. he, too was a pure white tom but he was much larger than the previous. Sleetfoot bowed his head so far it touched the cave floor. "Blizzardstar!" "My young Grandkit, you have so much to learn. But I am hear t tell you that you will not be learning them under us. This is as far as your path with MoonClan goes. on the next leg of your journey and possibly the rest of your life you will be watched by different ancestors, the same ancestors that now watch over your father and his half of IceClan. That is why Moorland will still be watching you. She dies under StarClan's watch and so she lives with them now. even MoonClan is unsure of the outcomes of the High land War and we are unsure if MoonClan will exist much longer, but i can garentee that StarClan are ancestors worthy of your approval." Sleetfoot dared not interrupt his leader's speech until this news hit him. "You won't be watching me anymore?" "No, and I must warn you that StarClan does things differently. The likelihood of you having council with them is not high. They speak only with their leaders and Medics." "I-I wont be able to talk to them" "That is doubtful." The majestic white tom dipped his head lightly. 'I am sorry we did not live in the same times, my Grandkit but i have watched what you have done for our Clan and I am glad that you where there. I must go now. Let IceClan live on through you, my child." The pair of white toms let their tail-tips twine briefly in a gesture of respect, then the first leader of IceClan started to evaporate.
Sleetfoot's eyes shot open and he found himself back in the small cave. he was fully rested when he stood and stretched and he felt like a new cat. he bounded out of the small den and found his way five or six foxlengths from the opening where he stuck his tail strait through the snow. He pulled it out and noted that the snow was a good mouselength deep. Then he gently let his ear fall to the ice. For a few seconds he just stood there before a huge grin spread across his face. He sidestepped and shot his paw strait through the ice emerging with a very plump rabbit he killed it with one swift blow. But before he could turn and return to his makeshift den, he felt a body collide with his and a fierce hissing and he turned, claws unsheathed, ready to defend his life.

Bluesky had been about to pounce on a particularly plump rabbit, but then something rammed into her, stealing away the rabbit. A snarl ripped out of her throat as she quickly regained her paws. She crouched low, furious. "Who are you?" She growled dangerously. "This is MountainClan territory- you have no right to steal our prey!" Her claws slid out and ripped at the ice. Vicious snarls continued to peal out of her throat and into the cold air. Her breath turned misty in the freezing whether, but they had gotten used to it by now. This leaf-bare was a particularly harsh one, and prey was scant. The plump rabbit had been the first the silvery-blue she-cat had seen in moons, enough to feed a couple warriors or the kits.
She stepped closer to the snowy white intruder, hate bubbling madly inside of her. She sank impossibly lower to the ice beneath her, digging in her strange black claws- sharp as blackthorns. She bared her long, sharp fangs in anger and let loose another round of pissed off snarls. She slipped even closer, ready to attack the strange cat. There was no way she was letting the mongrel get away with stealing from their precious little amount of prey.

**Awesome ** The white cat looked up after the impact at the grey she-cat. She was obviously furious but his face was a look of pure apologeticness. He dipped his head and pushed the rabbit forward. “I did not realize cats lived on these mountains. I was hunting for myself but if you or your…MountainClan need it you can have it.” His stomach rumbled loudly and his tail flicked in embarrassment. “But. Did you say Clan?” He looked back up at her. Her grey fur was rustling slightly in the biting wind but his own fur lay flat against his body. His history and past life had helped him to have no problems with the cold. “I am Sleetfoot, by the way, Deputy of IceClan from the far High Lands.” He stood and walked closer to her, holding out his tail for a ‘tail-shake’.

((lol, she can be feisty. This is fun! )) "I don't care what you realized and didn't realize!" She snapped forcefully, lashing her tail in anger. She snarled again as his stomach rumbled, preparing to leap. She paused for a moment when he said 'IceClan'. She had heard whisperings of a Clan far away that was blind to the cold, but never before had she met one. Not even her traveling rogue mother ever had. But she only paused for a moment, then a fierce anger bubbled back up inside of her. She spat at his tail, disgust rippling through her. "Grr- aaaaaa!" She let loose a ferocious battle cry, launching herself forcefully at the strange cat. She ripped her claws cleanly from the ice they were gripping and reached out. She quickly pulled them together, grabbing at each side of the pale head with an enormous amount of force and long, black claws. No one was sure why they were black, but she was proud of her claws. She frequently sharpened them, and now they glinted in the sunlight to a deadly point. She felt anticipation of her claws sinking into the cat's head, hoping briefly that her aim was true. ((LOL, I made my own move! x3))

** I know ** He noticed her pause at the mention of his homelands. Perhaps this was the way to get to her. He let his tail fall behind him after she spat at it and once she flew at him, He had though for a second of fighting back. Where he came from, other cats only wanted harm to come to him but here might be different. He could do one of two things. Either A) Fight back and earn her respect by showing off his fighting skills or B) laying limp and letting her do as she pleased with him until she was satisfied he came in piece. He chose the latter. He let his tail lay limp and his paws fell to his side once he was pushed on his back but he didn't close his eyes. He felt her claws rip his ear but still he stayed calm. He let his icy blue eyes, stare into her yellow ones. If these cats believed in killing loners who meant no harm that was their decision and he was tired of running and fighting. MoonClan had told him he was following new path. maybe that meant death.

((LOL Blue's eyes be yellow. xD))
Bluesky snarled again, sinking in vicious back claws. Why wasn't the cat fighting back? Weirdo... She held her attacking position for another second, then relaxed. His eyes seemed calm enough- that meant he wasn't going to try and pull a trick, right? She pulled in her claws - a bit disappointed - and let her hackles fall. She kept him pinned down for another moment and then drew back. She glared at him like he was a disease. "Who are you and what do you want this us?"
She kept tense, ready to jump at him at any sign of a threat. She still didn't believe that she could trust him, but she still wouldn't continue attacking a cat that wouldn't fight back. Perhaps the Cats of the Ice weren't all they were cracked up to be... Or maybe this cat had been driven out? Whatever the reason, it probably wasn't good. Nope, not good at all. Though who was on the receiving end of this 'not-goodness' wasn't any of her concern. She just wanted the prey-stealing cat gone.

**I totally...didn't know that...*Modifies***
His eyes flickered a smile as he felt her claws receding from his flesh. Eventually, she drew back and he sat up, licking the fur on his paw and running it over his bleeding ear. "As I have already stated, I am Sleetfoot, Deputy of IceClan in the High Lands up North. my story is that of many words and the time is not sufficient enough to tell it but I will tell you this. We are no more. I am the only living IceClan cat, save my father and the six warriors he took away three moons ago. my clan is parrished and now I look for a home. If you and your Clan be not willing to help me I will leave your mountains and ne'er bother you again. I was only passing through." He looked up from his paw, setting it silently on the ground.

Bluesky glared at this 'Sleetfoot'. She still wanted to chase him out, but it was obvious that he wasn't going to fight back. And now her curiosity got the better of her. "Heh, the great Cats of the Ice have perished, have they? Must've not been all that great to begin with, eh, Snowy?" She eyed him, settling back on her haunches. Hopefully, she would be able to rouse some kind of anger in him... She didn't like the idea of bringing a strange cat into camp, perhaps it was a trap, though she couldn't fathom why.

He dipped his head heavily. "'Snowy' would be my father, though no cat ever disrespected him so much as to call him that. And though it is true, the Ice Cats where once great, so where the other Clans but we have been attacked by cats that have finally broken the pice. Everyone knew it would happen someday, but know one knew it would be this soon.
"We have always had Sunclan's Followers at our tails, but the Lands where ours and we fought back. It wasn't until they brought in a pack of wolves that we started to fall. Now, the wolves out number us two to one and they come to every battle. they murdered my Clan." despite the grey cat's hope, his eyes filled with pain and sadness rather than anger.

Bluesky sniffed, she'd been referring to his snowy coat. What was the cat's name again? She swished her tail uncomfortably, not liking the feelings of sympathy washing through her. "Wolves? They better stay in the ice..." She muttered, trying to hold onto her spite. She knew that she'd feel guilty if she made the cat move on, though, she reluctantly flicked her tail at him.
"Follow me." She turned and bounded through the snow, racing up the mountain. The cat could follow her or not- she didn't care. If he did, then he'd be at the MountainClan camp and Wildstar would make the decision on whether to offer hospitality of not. Suddenly she realized she'd left behind the plump rabbit, but pumped her legs faster instead of slowing down. The cat would take it with him if he followed, if not, she could always go back later. She was pretty sure he wasn't going to steal their prey after all that.

A light of hope shone through his eyes as she seemed to loosen up. She had flicked her tail at him and he nodded to her thankfully. She bounded off toward the mountain's slope. He looked down at the rabbit and picked it up, the warm scent wafting through his jaws. He stood and leapt after her.
His trained claws slid gracefully through the ice covering the rocks and he never even came close to slipping on the white surface. It wasn't long before he had caught up with her and he slowed his pace slightly to match hers.

Bluesky noticed that the other cat slowed when he caught up to her. She twitched her tail in annoyance and pounded faster still. She dug her long claws into the ice and shoved off, leaving cracks behind her. Her tail streamed out behind her as she raced up the familiar trails, icy wind breaking off of her face and whistling through her ears. She came to what seemed to be a cliff- unless you approached it from the other side, it looked like it would lead to a painful death. "Heh." She puffed quietly to herself, before shoving off of the edge with her hind legs. She arched gracefully through the air, twisting to land just so that she was facing the correct direction and sped off again.
Eventually, she slowed and began hopping nimbly from rock to rock. The large stones were covered in snow- treacherously deep in most places. Let's see the show off get through this. She thought smugly. Her paws touched lightly to the rock in places that were solid, only known by moons of passing through the rocks. She leaped quickly and twisted around, digging her claws into an icy rock and clawing up the covering while sliding down. She pulled her paws from the rock and hopped off. She landed silently at the entrance to camp, forcing her breathing to come slowly through her nostrils. She flicked her tail and turned to glare icily at the cat that was probably behind her.

Sleetfoot stayed two paw-steps behind his she-cat guide, watching her carefully. she smelled like the mountains, meaning she had been here for a long time so it was better to trust her knowledge of the territory rather than guess on chance that he stepped into the correct spots. it wasn't long until they came to a huge cliff. She sped up slightly to clear it, taking a deep breath before lunging from the flat. Sleetfoot, also, sped up tremendously to jump off the edge. no cat would be stupid enough to fake a jump like that unless there was a solid landing below. He saw her flip in the air so she could go a different way, but rather than flip in the air, he waited until his paws touched ground before spinning on the ground. He zipped after her again.
Though the mountain cat zig zagged between rocks, finding the shallowest of snowed areas, Sleetfoot went strait through, using his powerful hind-legs to leap over the deepest of areas. He kept good pace with the hame land cat. Eventually, he could see her slowing and he knew they had to be close to her home. He slowed as well to match her pace and soon, they had both come to a complete stop in front of a large cave. Though she was breathing heavily through her nose, the white cat seemed to have been barely effected by their speed or the cold breeze that had picked up during their run. She had turned to look at him, and he had been there, right behind her. Waiting to be brought into her camp.

Bluesky narrowed her eyes and the cat, grinding her teeth and breathing normally while her heart raced. She had wanted the cat to go before her, but he could obviously not take a hint. She turned and lead the way into camp, her tail held high and cocked at the tip. She padded straight to Wildstar's den, pausing briefly to call out a greeting. "Wildstar, I picked up some cat with a death wish out there." She meowed loudly, turning to stare at the cat. He was going in first this time, and let Wildstar lay the verdict as she may.

The white tom's eyes followed the grey cat's gaze toward the large cave set in the side of the camp. His nose twitched at the scent of energy-meat. he turned and found a hole in the ground covered in snow, but he decided that his rabbit would be better to offer to the leader, rather than to lay on the pile. Sleetfoot nodded to his running partner then stepped silently into the large cave, waiting for the reply from this 'Wildstar'.
